Silky, plush contours and sweet floral notes lead into a core of red-toned fruit, blood orange and spice. Medium in body and quite gracious, the 2024 does not have the resonance of the very best years, but it more than makes up for that with its undeniable charm.

It has a typical bouquet from this minuscule estate with red cherry, blood orange and light floral scents unfolding in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied, cohesive, structured and lightly spiced on the entry. The finish suggests it will benefit from two or three years in bottle. The 2024 is a good, solid Clos Saint-Martin.

Silky, lush, and fresh, with a creamy mid-palate, the wine exudes charm and elegance through its layers of ripe, sweet plums and cherries. The wine blends 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Harvesting took place on two dates, September 24, and October 4. Drink from 2028-2038.
