Een fantastische wijn die perfect illustreert waarom Margaret River Chardonnay een plek verdient in de kelder van elke liefhebber. Artus is een van de twee topcuvée's in wit van Bruce Dukes en vindt zijn oorsprong in een wijngaard in het koelere deel van Margaret River. Die wijngaard is aangeplant met de Gingin kloon, de belangrijkste Chardonnay kloon in Margaret River en mede verantwoordelijk voor het eigen karakter van de lokale wijnen. Die wijnen kennen naast een grote mate van rijkdom en complexiteit een bijzonder aangename 'al-dente' textuur en een voorbeeldige frisheid en lengte. Zo ook de Artus Chardonnay met z'n perfect rijpe fruit (grapefruit, perzik, limoen), z'n hartige tonen van hazelnoot, biscuit en room en z'n schitterende zuren die zorgen voor een superieure balans. Blijft moeiteloos overeind tussen de top-Meursault's maar overtuigt ook op zichzelf beschouwd ten volle als benchmark voor Margaret River Chardonnay.
