"Verrukkelijk wit uit Margaret River!"
Op een terroir dat met z'n gravelrijke bodem en sterke zee-invloed doet denken aan Bordeaux hoeft het niet te verbazen dat blends van sauvignon blanc en semillon excelleren. Die van Bruce Dukes is ronduit verrukkelijk en James Halliday verwoordt dat bijzonder treffend: "Creamy and super-lifted. This is what I would describe as restrained tropical: there is guava, pawpaw, lychee and even hints of pineapple, all of it on the greener side, and therefore somewhat pulled in. There's some salted crushed nuts, green apple and grapefruit in there for good measure. Pretty delicious proposition, the price astounding."

100% barrel ferment (15% new), weekly bâtonnage for 2 months prior to early winter bottling. Creamy, funky, a bit sweaty and super-lifted. This is what I would describe as restrained tropical: there is guava, pawpaw, lychee and even hints of pineapple, all of it on the greener side, and therefore somewhat pulled in, or restrained. There's some salted crushed nuts, green apple and grapefruit in there for good measure. Pretty delicious proposition, the price astounding. 83/17% sauvignon blanc/semillon.
