De beide Rieslings van Henschke zijn exemplarisch voor de verfijnde, florale stijl waar Eden Valley z'n faam aan ontleent. In de Peggy's Hill Riesling komt die stijl tot volle ontplooiing. De wijn ontleent z'n naam aan een bekende heuvel in de regio en wordt gemaakt op basis van druiven afkomstig van wijngaarden tot 50 jaar oud.
Een wijn om van te watertanden. Energiek en verfijnd tegelijk, lichtvoetig en intens, met puur en prachtig fruit (citrus, appel, witte perzik), fraaie tonen van bloesem en gember en een voorbeeldige lengte en mineraliteit. Uit een oogstjaar dat door de Henschke's als exceptioneel wordt betiteld.

The Henschke family arrived from Silesia in 1841, and the sixth generation profits from the wisdom and experience of their predecessors. Known the world over for its famous Hill of Grace red, Henschke also sees great success with its whites. Peggy’s Hill Riesling is sourced from vines up to 50 years old at 500m in ancient Cambrian soils. Justin Knock MW: Upright and arresting. Beautifully salivating, energetic, refined, a thirst-slaking style that will disappear swiftly with a chill and some crab. A straight up and down style – lovely, very well made. Roger Jones: Gentle, aromatic nose, showing notes of talc and Turkish delight, ripe melon, kumquat, textured layered ripples of enticing flavours. Fresh, zesty and rather good. Julia Sewell: Green apple, lemon pith, a hint of talc. Feels very much of its place, with notes of lemon and lime, a concentrated burst of flavour powering through over the searing acidity, bringing a balanced, long finish.
